It’s night. The music sparks up. People are in front of me, by the hundreds, or even the tens of thousands, sitting or standing, listening, singing, dancing. The gazes, the sensations, the smells, the expectations, the unexpected developments, the disappointments and the moments in which you feel like you’re flying. The many trips and as many sunrises. In my 2019 alone, this ritual was repeated almost 200 times …
For the past weeks now, all this is no more, it has abruptly stopped and is all gone.
My blog has been my voice for the past few years now, though a little calmer and more in depth than in my various posts and stories, both in describing projects, visions and points of view regarding my sector by narrating my “behind the scenes” and most memorable moments; at this moment, with this nocturnal calm, I can’t help but see how many artists have rolled up their sleeves so as to reinvent a stage for themselves, something they wouldn’t be able to do it without all of you, without their audience, which hasn’t disappeared, even though they are forced to stay home.
And so, in the midst of all the various #togetherathome #iorestoacasa (#imstayinghome), #iosuonodacasa (#implayingfromhome), #distantimauniti (#farbutunited) and #andratuttobene (#everythingwillbefine), the feeling that music spreads through my broadcasts and goes beyond slogans and hashtags, manages to keep the memory of those “oh so precious” moments alive and present… perhaps only now we are staring to comprehend how much they are really missed.
Today’s live broadcast is the 8th, and I will keep sharing, day in and day out, all the hope and enthusiasm I have with all of you: it’s thanks to this that I hit the “live” button on my social networks and that all of you entrust us with singers and musicians with your desire to be the recipients of these good vibes.
I won’t stop, and I hope to play on the screens of new fans, families, children and young people who understand how important it is to stay home so as to reverse this course: to immediately “isolate” the virus, the evil #Covid-19, so that it will no longer know who to lean on and how to multiply.
Whether you’re Italian or you follow me from the rest of the world, I’m hoping that my blog’s pages regarding this topic will be very few, only a minimum, so that we can turn the page together, hopefully soon, towards a summer in which to meet up from a stage that will be more wonderful than ever.
