For the first time last July we all “leapt” together and found ourselves in the year 2235: deep space, Commander AJ is aboard the Life on Mars and, alongside him, his inseparable travel companion, his violin; after 7 years of navigating in space he discovered the Two Suns

Black Hole Tale

In September we found him in the presence of the most ravenous of black holes. An adventure in which it was difficult to establish the chances of survival, amid the acceptance of the extreme moment and an unexpected rescue with the power of music.

In December we retraced those 7 years of space navigation with our memory: The thrill of the warp speed thrust into the unknown – the violin echoes like a bagpipe. There is no more time to doubt, the warp engines cry implacably and quantum space opens up to the Life on Mars spaceship.

The next adventure in commander AJ’s memory is about to be told: in April, be ready, The River is arriving.

So far you have met many of The Space Violin project’s participants: remixers, DJs, musicians, illustrators and animators, photographers and video makers who, in space or on earth, have contributed to humanity’s salvation through music.

From this blog, I want to reactivate a vision of that ‘not so distant’ Future.

2225, on Earth, people live suspended, without being able to distinguish between digital reality and real life, thus resulting in a TOTAL SHUTDOWN and the great civil war of the digital age: the individual’s condition of existence is in crisis, the basis of human communication has changed and so has the very way of being human.

AJ is one of the few surviving musicians of a besieged relational community that is fighting to propose a model of existence to future generations. Appointed as The Space Violin mission commander by the Alliance, he embarks on an expedition in search of distant planets, different worlds that can host life, or alien life forms with which to communicate through music.

2235, during the return journey, memories begin to flow, emotions and fears bring to light the reason for his mission: humanity, managed only by automata and devices, is no longer able to preserve the wealth of experiences and resources.
People ask the system of algorithms for solutions, thus handing over their lives to the perpetrators.

Someone, or something, is devouring the world.
