Those who read this blog often follow a link found in a facebook or Instagram post, those virtual places that permit us to stay in fast daily contact.
I reopened this blog some months ago: an instrument that seemed to have become less “cool” has now once again become a weekly “luxury”, a space in which to use 2/3 minutes of reading material to say something more about myself or my points of view , without necessarily having to summarize it in a photo, a part of a song, a line or a thought “at its core”.
But as an Artist and a man of my time, how do I really live my relationship with social media? I believe that we all ask ourselves about it and sharing a rapid analysis about it can also stimulate you to do it too.
This “virtual community” requires quite a lot of time, because it becomes a daily thought to which you need to dedicate care, time and ideas: my only rule is to use it as a means to tell the reality of what I do, without artificial creations dedicated only to a life on the net. Those who discover me this way will have to come to a concert and experience a “live” engaging and exciting event, not just an empty promise seen online.
This constant social activity promotes the dissemination of my music, highlights my tour dates and allows more and more people to get to know me and freely decide whether to follow me or not: “I like that guy with that strange violin and that luminous bow who travels through the space “or” he doesn’t interest me, I don’t like him “.
The coolest thing? Sharing moments on stage, the immediacy that today allows an artist to grasp people’s gratifying reactions in real time: when you finish an evening and find dozens or hundreds of instagram stories with your tag, a positive comment, a thank you, a photo together, you can only be grateful to those who wanted to thank you in that way: it’s not owed and mustn’t be take for granted, it’s a precious gesture. I’ve always believed in playing for others more than for myself, and activating positive energies is always my first goal, every time I set foot on a stage.
So today I’m dedicating space to some screenshots of your stories, and I look forward to the many summer concerts (which you can find in this blog’s previous post) to make more and more newer ones!
